New York Ballroom Dance is not only a wonderful dance studio run by consummate professionals, but it's also a welcoming and happy place. I never thought I'd be interested in dancing, but one day I saw a flyer at the local high school saying there was going to be a basic introduction to dancing at the gym in the evening. Four adult couples showed up, and none had danced before. After an hour of learning a few steps, I walked out thinking that it had been fun, and decided to try taking a lesson at a studio. I settled on the New York Ballroom Dance Center after reviewing the impressive credentials of the professional dancers at the dance center. The teachers are top notch, and there are many different dances to choose from -- foxtrot, waltz, tango, swing, rumba, mambo, cha cha, and others.
